When Ryan Coe’s fifteen-year-old son is arrested, she cannot believe her son committed this crime. She is angry because he will not talk to her about what happened so she goes to Dr. Sullivan Crisp to find a way to cope with her anger. Sully is in town helping one of his clinics and searching for Belinda Cox, the woman whose counseling caused the death of his wife and daughter. Sully's search ends in disaster and now he and Ryan will have to rely on God to survive these storms.
I really enjoyed "Healing Sands" by Nancy Rue and Stephen Arterburn because you can understand why Ryan was angry or why Sully was searching for the person he holds responsible for his wife’s death. This book shows us how to deal with our anger when things do not go the way we thought they should and to trust God no matter how bad the situation looks.
