Hunter's Moon by Don Hoesel is about well known writer, CJ Baxter. After being gone for seventeen years, CJ comes back home to Adelia, NY after the death of his grandfather. The Baxter’s have always wanted to build a political dynasty and those dreams are finally coming true through CJ's brother, Graham. But there is a secret that the brothers share and it could ruin Graham’s plans. CJ is a new Christian, and has trouble dealing with his family, his soon to be ex-wife and knowing that it’s time people really knew what happened. CJ soon finds himself in grave danger and finds out a secret his mother and father have kept from him all his life. This book is a good illustration between good and evil, and right and wrong. I received a free copy of this book to review from Bethany House.
