Not a Sparrow Falls
After her siblings are placed in foster care, Mary Bridget "Bridie" Washburn flees the hills of Virginia with a man who lives on the wrong side of the law. When she decides she wants out, she reports him to the police and strikes out on her own. Assuming a new identity, Bridie lives a quiet life until she meets a teenaged girl begging God for help. Alasdair MacPherson, the girl's father, is a widowed pastor struggling to raise three children after his wife's suicide. He hires Bridie to take care of his children while he is working and Bridie is finally happy and realizes God has always been there for her. But Bridie's happiness is threatened when the man she sent to jail is released and tracks her down. "Not a Sparrow Falls" by Linda Nichols is a book that shows us that no matter what we have done, God never turns away from us, we turn away from Him. I received a free copy of this book to review from Bethany House.
