Heart of Ice

In “Heart of Ice” by Lis Wiehl, we are once again drawn into a murder mystery and the ladies of the Triple Threat Club soon find themselves in the middle of it. Elizabeth Avery appears to be a nice, attractive young lady to most people, but those that know her best know that she has a heart of ice and does not care who is standing in the way of her dreams. Elizabeth will stop at nothing to have the man she wants, even if it means killing his ex-wife and young son. What she does not count on is that the man she has hired to do the job has a change of heart. When he tries to tell his story to a young reporter, they both end up dead. In the midst of all the killings, Elizabeth befriends Cassidy. Cassidy is also a reporter and a part of the Triple Threat Club. Cassidy, Nicole and Allison are all involved in the murders. Cassidy reports them, Nicole investigates them and Allison prosecutes the alleged murders. The ladies do not realize what is going on right under their noses and that Cassidy’s new friend is behind it all. Will they be able to solve the case before one of them is the next victim? I received a free copy of this book to review from Thomas Nelson.
