Eyes of Justice

“Eyes of Justice” by Lis Wiehl is the fourth book in the Triple Threat series. The Triple Threat is three friends who are in the crime business. Cassidy reports it, Nicole investigates it, and Allison is a federal prosecutor. These three ladies have helped solve several cases but now somebody is after them. When Nicole and Allison find Cassidy dead in her apartment, they take things into their own hands. They enlist the help of an eccentric private investigator, Ophelia. The local police department arrest Nicole’s ex boyfriend for her murder and it appears to be an open and shut case. But Nicole and Allison think there is more to it and with the help of Ophelia, they are determined to find the real killer even if it means putting themselves in danger. Will Nicole and Allison find the real killer before he finds them?

“Eyes of Justice” is by far the best book in the Triple Threat series. Lis Wiehl has done an amazing job with bringing these characters to life and she makes you feel like you know them. This was a very fast paced thriller and it kept me guessing until the true killer was revealed. This book is full of twists and turns. You will not want to put it down. If you have never read any of the Triple Threat books then I highly recommend them. I hope the series will continue with Nicole, Allison and now Ophelia. I received a complimentary copy of this book to review from Thomas Nelson.

  1. this book is a great blend of mystery, suspense and chick lit. The friendships between the women are portrayed realistically, complete with occasional insecurities and self-doubts, but also fierce loyalty. The characters mature and progress as the story unfolds.
The murder of one of the main characters is definitely more shocking if you’ve read the previous books, because you’re more emotionally connected to all the characters. So I’d recommend reading the other books in the series first! But then read this one—you’re going to love it.
