"True to You" by Becky Wade takes us to the Pacific Northwest where we meet Nora Bradford and John Lawson. Nora is the owner of a historical village and prefers to bury herself in the past. She suffered a broken heart and finds that it is easier to keep herself in a fictional world. And then she meets John. John is a former Navy SEAL who returned home a hero. John learns he has an inherited medical conditional and hires Nora to help him find his birth parents. While spending time together they both start to fall for each other. However there is one problem; John has a girlfriend. As time passes John realizes his feelings for Nora are getting too deep and knows he must end all connection with her. But he is miserable without her bright personality in his life. When they finally move forward in a relationship they discover that they are more connected than they realize it could cost them a future together.
This is a wonderfully written book that is full of hope, love and mercy. This book takes us on an adventure while also showing us that with God's love and guidance we can overcome any obstacle in our path if we will only place our trust in Him. This book is the first book in the Bradford Sisters Romance and introduces us to many other characters we will see in the next two books. I highly recommend this book. I receved a complimentary copy of this book to review from Bethany House Publishers.
